PERSONAL INVITATION
Alijó, 10th October 2012
Dear Artist
The Printmaking Nucleus of Alijó - Douro Biennial (Portugal), would like to inform you about a great event that will take place in the Lamego Museum and Douro Museum (Régua), from 10th of August to 30th of September, the “GLOBAL PRINT 2013”.
Aware of your remarkable work we would like to invite you to be part in this international event (note this is a exhibition only for invited artists).
Therefore, we ask you to send one printmaking work (without frame and without technical limits – we accept all traditional printmaking techniques, digital processes and installations), a digital curriculum resume (10 lines in Times New Roman, body 12), the technical card of the works (title, technique, dimension and price*10 €uros).
(* The price (€10) is a symbolic value to declare in the financial customs services. You must inform this price in the technical card of the works, and the real price information for eventual selling send by mail).
The works and the other elements must be sent till 30th April 2013 to:

Do not forget to put outside de package of prints, the mention
“NO COMMERCIAL VALUE – PRINTED MATTER”.
In case you accept our invitation, please inform us of your decision urgently by mail. Please send us 50 euros to cooperate with this project and a contribution to the catalogue, till 30th December 2012.
In the end of the exhibition we will send you one exemplar of a catalogue of the exhibition and will send back your artwork (in case we don’t sell it or you don’t offer it to the Douro Museum and his Printmaking Art Collection).
